What is Sketchwalk?
Imagine an adventure of several artists - all traveling with their sketchbooks along the same route... sketching /watercoloring quickly as we go. We all meet at the end of the day to share sketchbooks, stories, laughs, at a nearby cafe. I will organize each route and have maps for all.
This is the kind of adventure that gives in so many ways - not only by facilitating group art/new creative friends, but by encouraging a fresh look/appreciation of san francisco locales. If we happen to have some great art at the end of the day, that's a bonus.

P.S. Some people have asked about what the 1.50 fee is/how is it used....
Most meetup events charge a low fee because meetup costs to start a group.
(when an organizer makes a group they have to pay before it is posted.
This fee helps reimburse me for the money I paid, as well as cutting down on no shows.

We'll Meet up Sunday, Dec. 13th at 12:00 noon, pass out maps and begin.
We'll sketch/pastel/watercolor/etc as we travel and meet up at a nearby cafe for refreshments, and to recap. We'll be actually traveling / sketching for about 3 hours, and then hang out at a cafe for a while. Read more
