Sled Heads: The Snowmobilers' Group

If you love to ride your sled and are looking for some other sled heads that share your passion, you've found what you've been looking for.

Our group is open to anyone, but primarily caters to snowmobilers in the Hennepin county area. Our group usually has monthly meetings in Medina on the first Tuesday of the month (at the Medina Entertainment Center near Hwy 55/Hwy 101) in conjunction with the NWT Association meeting, has monthly sleding events/rides and works to expand and maintain the network of snowmobile trails in the Hennepin county area. Our members also meet up in small groups for trail rides and sled bar hoping.

The "Sled Heads" group is unofficially associated with the NWT (Northwest Trails Association) (http://www.nwtrails.net) and MNUSA (Minnesota United Snowmobilers Association). In other words, we encourage you to join those associations and attend the NWT association events, but it's optional. The "Sled Heads" meetup group is new for the 2009-2010 season, so we encourage you to join. Our goal is promote Sled Head group membership among riders in their 20's to 40's. The more people that join, the more rides and events we can schedule. Members are also able to schedule their own events for the Sled Head group.
