Online IDEA Cafe Startup Workshop

Details

One of the best ways to get started yourself is to help others.
Are you stuck? Have a great idea? Need an idea? Just not sure what to do next?

Join us! Each Tuesday afternoon from 2 to 3 p.m. Mountain time, we share startup experience, go on Fresh Thought Hunts, and share the most current information about innovation, business creativity, and startup.

Join us if you want to start a new career, a new project or campaign, or a new business. Sometimes the best way to start is to just get a job in the direction of your dreams, this is also a useful session if you just want to find a good job fast.

Join us any Tuesday afternoon when your week has gotten off to a slow start or when you've have a bright idea and would like a boost as you head in a new direction.

Then, to help you get started yourself, help your local chamber or other group start a face-to-face startup workshop. We will help you for free, if you want the help.

When you RSVP you'll be given a phone number and access code.

We need people to lead new startup workshops in cooperation with local chambers across Colorado and beyond. Attending this online workshop or one of the face-to-face workshops is the first step towards becoming an IDEA Café leader.

Today's session will be personally led by John Wren, founder & CEO of the Small Business Chamber of Commerce. He has decades of experience with startups and people starting new careers. He started holding what we now call IDEA Cafe Startup Workshops in Denver nearly 20 years ago, 5280 Magazine says Wren's workshops have "infused Denver with an entrepreneurial spirit."

Wren has formed our Small Business Chamber to help startups across Colorado and beyond, in cooperation with local chambers and local community newspapers. There is a lot of information about him online (websites, his book is on Amazon--Google "John Wren Daring Mighty Thing, Facebook, Linked In, Branch Out, About.me etc etc.

We plan on forming a board of directors and becoming an educational 501C3 corporation, please let John Wren know if you'd be willing to serve on the board or help in any other way.

We need speakers who are willing to share their startup experience at workshops, let us know if you or anyone you know might be willing to share.

If you might be willing to serve on the new board, if you have speaker suggestions, or if you have any complaints, other suggestions, or questions about what we are doing and what are the current plans for the future, contact John Wren at (303)861-1447 or 960 Grant St. #727, Denver, CO 80203, or John@SmallBizChamber.org.
