Hello everyone! Our meeting is officially SET for this Saturday (1/18) at 3pm at Great Over Good in Orange County, CA. I think Orange County is a nice "happy medium" for people between San Diego/Los Angeles. :)
WHAT WE'RE GOING TO DO!
This is our very FIRST meeting, so we'll be putting our heads together and coming up with some fun and unique ways to give back. You don't need to have ANY volunteer experience to join us -- just bring your creative minds and an open heart.
OUR GOALS FOR SATURDAY

BECOME FRIENDS! (duh) There will be free snacks, coffee, and other great bloggers to meet!

Decide on some charities or organizations that we'd like to aid (at least for now!)

Discuss potential ways to raise money, devote our time, etc

Think up ways to involve bloggers nationwide (I've gotten a GREAT response from bloggers from all over -- even overseas! It would be wonderful if we could brainstorm how to get them involved in their own regions). w
WHAT TO BRING
A pen, paper, extra snacks (if you want--not required!!), and business cards (if you want!).
