Your answers will be visible to everyone. This is like a resume to tell the other members what you are looking for. This is NOT a "swingers" group so please reflect this in your answer. What does the word polyamory mean to you?

For me, polyamory recognizes that different people play different roles in your life - emotionally, mentally, and sexually - and opening our heart to loving and accepting people for who they are and what they offer rather than who we wish they were.

Why did you join the polyamory meetup group?

After a long-term marriage, I became involved in a couple poly relationships and loved how they made me feel about myself. I'd like to meet more like-minded people as I've felt the community is very warm and accepting and see where it leads.

Are you currently involved in a poly relationship? How many individuals in your "tribe"?

Not formally. I've been in a couple poly relationships before I really knew what that meant.

Do you have any children? What are their ages? (helps in planning activities)

2 kids - 17 and 19 - they won't be involved in the activities.

What would your ideal poly relationship look like?

Near term, keeping it playful and fun and seeing what develops naturally by building friendships. Longer term, I'd like this to develop into a primary relationship (or small circle) where we could explore things on a deeper level.

Well, new to the scene, although was starting to explore it down in San Diego through a some tantric friends until moving up to OC/LA just before the new year (2011). Looking forward to getting to know more folks in the community.
