For me, it's being attracted to and able to love more than one person emotionally and sexually in an open and honest way. It isn't necessarily absent of jealousy, but that jealousy is fleeting, it gets managed, and isn't long-term or infectious. It is an absolutely incredible, beautiful, humbling thing.
My husband and I aren't really close to people who share our same beliefs. It would be nice to have that in our lives. Spending time with friends who get it, who are accepting and don't judge would be refreshing. It would be helpful to know what other poly people believe, what has worked, what hasn't, etc. We are very secure people, and just want to get to know others.
Yep! There are 4 of us. :)
This is not something I can plan for, figure out, or know beforehand. A person or persons added for the long-term, short-term, on and individual basis, or shared between us... it's all good. Ideally it will be about what feels right, natural, or fun.
Above all, I am an artist in everything I do. I like trying new things, whether it's food, activities, people, or whatever. If it's interesting, I'm drawn to it. I am in a satisfying, polyamorous marriage and am open to what the world throws my way.
