Join BustAGroove, SoCal Science Cafe and SoCal Movie Fanatics for the latest Christopher Nolan BLOCKBUSTER: "Inception" - IMAX Experience. In one of the movie trailers, there were a few moments of what seemed like gravity shifting, a glass of water tilting, and guys jumping around shooting guns, a la The Matrix. Nolan said, ?Basically, the film deals with levels of reality, and perceptions of reality which is something I?m very interested in. It's an action film set in a contemporary world, but with a slight science-fiction bent to it.? After the movie, we'll have post-movie discussion focusing on physics or neuroscience (or other related topic) and its' role in science and films.

We're looking for a volunteer from SoCal Science Cafe to host a discussion related to physics or related topic after we screen the "Inception" movie. If you're interested, please reply on the message board by July 6, 2010 and we'll work out the details offline.

Paul is hosting a related event in April 2010: How Memories Get Made, which is a book detailing the decades-long obsessive pursuit to uncover the mechanism by which the brain makes memories.
