"It is useless to tell a playwright that he needs an obligatory scene, or that his play lacks tension or complication, unless you can tell him how to achieve these things." - Lajos Egri
Formed in 2009 as a strictly screenwriting critique group, OCFilmWorks has grown to a critique and production group. With a diverse membership, everyone brings a different skill set to the table, which allows us to pool our individual resources to shoot short films as practice, portfolio projects, and, sometimes, just for fun!
OCFilmWorks is not a production company. It does not provide financing or equipment. Instead, it relies completely on your peers helping you accomplish your goals. We're not here for just one project; we want everyone's project, whether it's a spec script or a short film, to succeed!
