Presented by Joseph Ducat, of Semplified.com
Joseph Ducat is a serial entrepreneur who found his passion in online marketing. Since 2003, he has been experimenting with and discovering strategies to generate and monetize traffic for websites. In his own online business, he has built and promoted hundreds of websites in dozens of niche markets generating revenue through the sale of third-party products (affiliate marketing), lead generation or advertising. By testing and tracking strategies from the most basic marketing tactics to the more aggressive methods used by hackers, he has gained an in-depth understanding of what works online and what doesn't. Mr. Ducat has the expertise to provide effective marketing solutions online in areas of Email Marketing, Pay-Per-Click advertising, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and Traffic Generation.
Corey Post recently finished a consulting job at leading social network Buzznet.com, where he developed the strategy and PRD for Economy, a system of incentives and rewards to encourage users to create and consume content, including videos and blogs, as well as promote Buzznet.com on other social media sites such as Facebook.com and MySpace.com.
Prior to working with Buzznet, Corey was the director of ad product management at United Online, where he led the development of a behavioral advertising engine to command higher advertising rates on social networking site Classmates.com.
Before United Online, Post served as director of marketing at IAC/InterActiveCorp. for an online discount club with $26,000,000 in revenue that sold memberships through deals with Ticketmaster, Match.com, and other major online players. While at IAC, Post led a strategy, product and business development team to integrate IAC's database of discounts at 250,000 merchant locations with the local search returns of Ask.com, Superpages.com, and Citysearch.com.
Beginning in 2003, Post worked for Landmark Communications, the parent company of the Weather Channel and Weather.com, where he created the online classified and user generated video strategy for a $100,000,000 newspaper division.
He also founded and operated, in the 1990s, a successful print and digital media company in Washington, DC that published titles for young professionals and was featured in The Washington Post and The New York Times. During this time, Post led a strategy and content team, in conjunction with AOL, to develop a lifestyle site for twenty-something users.
