Next Meeting: March 18th--We've got four experts to address the critical needs of high-end HD Production: Do you really need a DITech? How important is on-set color correction? What are the hidden issues of tapeless workflow? Do I need the expense of a video village? And is guerilla HD possible? Bring all your questions to this important meeting!
Our panel includes experts in all aspects of HD. Their practical experience in shooting (and troubleshooting) and posting native 2K and 4K formats, as well as many other formats, will give you a comprehensive insight into the high end of Hi Def Production.
Ken Garff is a well known cinematographer and owner of 24 Productions in Irvine www.in24p.com/ Ken has over 12 years experience making television commercials, direct-response, and corporate video, mostly in Hi Def with the Sony F-35 or RED ONE cameras. Besides shooting in HD, 24 posts in one of their three HD edit bays.
Brad Hagen owner and founder of Video Resources Inc, www.videoresources.com with offices in Irvine and Boston, has accumulated nearly half a century of video production adventures. VR provides a wide array of production services including renting out it two (2) RED ONE cameras.
James Mathers, a Filmmaker/Cinematographer and president/co-founder of the Digital Cinema Society, www.digitalcinemasociety.org has been DP on over 30 feature films and MOWs. He also also regularly produces, writes, and directs a variety of projects.
Todd Yates, is the moving force behind two of OC's busiest media companies, the Post Factory www.postfactory.com and Gear Monkey www.gearmonkey.tv The former provides post production in every format including High Def and the latter offers stages and equipment rentals including RED ONE cameras and Silicon Imaging's new HD camera the SI-2K

DIRECTIONS:
Video Resources is in the back of an office park on the NE corner of Dyer Rd and Pullman Street, just south of the 55 fwy. From the 405 take the 55 fwy east and exit at Dyer. Turn right onto Dyer, the first left onto Pullman and turn right into the first driveway on Pullman and head to the back (you'll go over RR tracks.)
From the I-5 take the 55 fwy West and exit at Dyer/Grand Ave. Turn left onto Grand and Left again onto Dyer. Go under the Fwy and left onto Pullman St. Turn right into the first driveway on Pullman and head to the back (you'll go over RR tracks.)
