THE PROGRAM
LEARN
http://i831.photobucket.com/albums/zz239/GoodCompanyVentures/staffadvisors/pic.jpgThe Philadelphia Business Journal recently named GoodCompany Ventures (http://www.goodcompanyventures.org/) as one of the area’s top assets for nurturing socially responsible businesses. Our speaker will be Garret Melby, CEO of Good Company Ventures, who will answer your questions and discuss what it takes to fund and grow a socially responsible start up.
GET FEEDBACK
If you have an idea, a challenge, a question related to a social enterprise, project or nonprofit you are trying to grow or start, you will have an opportunity to ask the attendees and and receive honest feedback and advice.
NETWORK FOR CHANGE
One of our main goals is to bring people together to foster change. Do you need people to help you with your business, project or nonprofit? Are you looking for a meaningful opportunity? Attendees will have a chance to announce what type of help they are looking for -- partners, mentors, volunteers, board members, funders, etc. This will be followed up with time to connect and discuss.
SUPPORT GROUP (optional)
For those attendees that have a project they are seriously trying to launch -- or have already launched -- we will be starting a smaller support group. The purpose of this group is to meet on a regular basis, get to know each other’s projects, share progress, offer advice, inspiration and more. For those who are interested in participating, the first meeting of this support group will take place after the main meeting.
We want to thank Frank Taney at Buchanan, Ingersoll & Rooney for generously providing space for this program.
