Now that we are all back from our well deserved break over Christmas and the New Year, lets get together to introduce ourselves and set agenda and frequency for subsequent meetings.
- Who you are, and your interest in the group - Your "burning question" relating to Intranets We would also be keen to identify people from the group that would like to present, and any specific topics that we could explore. There is also the opportunity to get product vendors to present their solutions to us, so we could discuss which of these we are interested in and try and get them to come along - I'm sure they would be keen given the quality of the meetup membership!
I have prepared a presentation titled "Working with the Bugs" to kick off with. This is my experiences and thoughts on relationships and collaboration with Business User Groups during the requirements gathering phase of an Intranet.
Proposed Meetup Schedule
I have set up the meeting for the second Thursday in February, and would propose that we could meet each month after that on the second Thursday of the month.
Finding a venue is often the hardest part of these things, and we have managed to get the Datacom cafeteria in Federal Street, which means we have a good space, reasonably central, with a projector. We will also have nibbles and drinks available.
