Join us to write the next chapter in financial social media!

A flurry of regulations have been passed allowing Wall Street to use social media. From wealth management to private equity, insurance to hedge funds, the light is flashing green. Many institutions have hit the gas pedal, using blogs, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube to do everything from attract assets and build brands to recruit talent and resolve crises. Now it’s time to figure out what comes next.

Following an “unconference” format, the attendees at #SocialWallStreet will co-create the meeting's agenda, identifying the top challenges we face over the next three years. We'll then brainstorm the solutions and share the results online for everyone to benefit.

The event is hosted by the Public Relations Society of America New York chapter. It will be held at the storied Museum of American Finance, a Smithsonian affiliate in the very building where Alexander Hamilton founded the Bank of New York.

It was a pleasure to speak at #SocialWallStreet, I am delighted to be a part of the conversation that seeks answers to the difficult questions facing the financial industry. Social media continues to be a hot topic for most, and I want to thank PRSA-NY and David Rosen for furthering the conversation. Socialware can support your efforts to build relationships and business through social media in a compliant manner. If you'd like to learn more, have questions, or would like to chat about how we can advance the conversation about social marketing in a compliance landscape, let me know! You can find me here (of course!), on twitter @JoyceMSullivan, or visit our company page http://socialware.com for more information. Thanks!

Enjoyed the conversational format that asked the hard questions, with some very practical insights coming out as a result.

Great format: people up on their feet, talking, listening, exploring. Lots of energy.

Great to meet some of you yesterday; apologies if I missed saying hello! Given the first question that we tackled was "I'm up and running, now where do I find all this content?" I wanted to reintroduce myself and Percolate (www.percolate.com). That is, very simply, what we do. We help brands plan, source, and create amazing content for social. We're a strategic partner of Edelman as well. Happy to chat more if content is something you're struggling with!

My two cents...the thing I like about Percolate is that it helps solve a governance problem. If you need 50 people to sign off on content in a certain order, Percolate streamlines that process.

Yes, we can! The focus on financial services organizations, and their representatives, who are ready to take compliant social media engagement to an advanced level, is so very needed. I'm delighted to be part of this important crowdsourced conversation.
