What are the things that control your life? Are the things that you allow to control you the most important things in your life? Why might things that control us not be important?

Good discussion. Thank you, Mary for coming and adding to our little group with your insight. I'm still thinking about what you said. That makes me happy!

Home lovely. Several attendees led with religious beliefs throughout the evening and this may be uncomfortable to some, especially when this is a publicly posted event not a private party. Could be a little more sensitive to this.

I just found out I'm going to be in Illinois on Saturday so not able to make the meetup. Looking forward to next time!

My heart and brain functioning properly would be at the top of the list but that's a good question to ponder.

"Things" don't control your life, you allow them to. So it doesn't matter what circumstances you are under, it is a decision on all our parts to let "things" i.e. external factors control us. What one may fall apart over, another may grab by the balls and be empowered by it.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
