Jeff Alstadt will be presenting on using Fluent nHibernate with MySQL. Come learn how to use .NET with open source technologies to make the world more open. We will also be delving into a benefit comparison of Fluent nHibernate and looking at a simple application using both technologies.

Jeff Alstadt's Bio:

Jeff is passionate about everything that is cross-platform from mobile to desktop to web applications. Prior to Centare Jeff had worked at Motorola working on the next generation of two-way radio repeater firmware and customer programming software using C++, C# and WPF/WCF. At Centare Jeff helped to grow the Chicago branch with recruitment and bringing in new clients. He is also active in the developer community. Jeff has co-founded the Software Development Community Meetup which has around 730 members from the Chicago area. Jeff has also founded Qt Chicago which is a meetup dedicated to the Qt framework. Jeff is an active C++/Qt and C# guy who is interested everything that is open source and Microsoft related. Jeff is also active in Chicago .NET User Group, Chicago C++ User Group and Lean StartUp Chicago.
