An introduction to writing Windows 8 style apps - Ben Farmer

Ben Farmer from Clarity Consulting will be presenting to us about Windows 8 development.

Ben's Bio:

Ben Farmer is a developer and engagement manager at Clarity Consulting in Chicago. He has extensive experience with presentation technologies such as Window Runtime (WinRT), Windows Phone, Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), Silverlight, HTML, CSS and JavaScript. He has served clients in several verticals including ecommerce, retail, and consumer applications. Recently Ben has been working on Windows Phone applications and touch applications targeting several types of Windows devices. In his spare time Ben enjoys sailing, cooking, travel and messing around with the Netduino microcontroller.
