Hyperion with Myles Megyesi

Hyperion is simple, effective persistence in Clojure (and Ruby). It's one small API with many different database implementations. This talk will uncover the rationale behind Hyperion, share stories of its use, and demonstrate how it works.

Myles grew up in Peoria, Illinois where he started programming in high school. In college, this interest grew into a love of developing web applications. After working on a large eDiscovery platform written with .NET, Myles became an apprentice to Micah Martin . At 8th Light he has worked with Ruby On Rails, Java, Limelight, and Clojure. Most importantly, 8th Light showed him the importance of craftsmanship.
