SCPhilly May: Lightning Talks/Getting Things Done

Details

Writing clean, maintainable code requires not only focus at the keyboard, but personal workflow strategies so that you can maintain that focus.

For the May meeting, we'll be presenting a series of lightning talks about hints, tricks, and tools to keep the signal to noise ratio in check. As always, there will be a kata at the end of the meeting up. The lightning talk topics are:

• Git Tricks - Jearvon Dharrie

• Tools and Tips for Remote Pairing - Chad Ostrowski

• Code Comments - Clara Bennett

• Writing Your Own Sublime Plugins - Fico Prieto

• Giving Code Presentations with Style - Sarah Gray

• Routines - Matt McManus

The schedule will start slightly earlier:

6:00p - Food

6:15p - Lightning Talks

8:00p - Kata: Please bring your laptop!

(Schedule may change)

Thanks to PromptWorks (http://promptworks.com/) for providing the space and buying food
