More data and Homebrew SWRE

Details
After a long delay, it's time to get partying again.
While I've implied a few times now that we would hold the next meeting in SF, I think we'll need to hold off until we can get some sponsorship $. In the meantime, let's meet at The Office of Silicon Valley as we have a few times now. Besides being pretty easy to get to in SVale, the venue costs me nothing as a building tenant.
While we had a great conversation at our last meeting about managing, visualizing, analyzing data, I think there's a bit more ground to cover there. I am trying to get a few guys associated with a GIS data visualization framework to come to the meeting and to share some of their work with us.
Then, we'll transition into a "homebrew" style agenda. If you're working on a project but have hit some hurdles, this might just be a great opportunity for you. Anyone who wants it can have 3-5 minutes to describe their project and their issues. Then we can break down into groups to discuss possible solutions to these issues.
I hope this will be a great opportunity for us to harness our collective intelligence and diverse views and experiences.
Projects and issues can be anything from deep technical bugs to high-level questions. Exs: In a Digi XBee low power radio, I cannot get the analog measurement feature to return the expected data. OR I'm trying to sell a product in a B2B realm in the Solar industry, how should I try to sell people on the fact that the product has these strengths and these weaknesses?
See you all soon!
