Great evening, some good ideas, people willing to get involved and express opinion. Certainly got my mind working after months of house moving and illness, looking forward to the next one!

Thought the speakers last night were excellent, loved Vernon's night at the ballet story, a great speaker. Simon made some really good points on how we need to step up to the mark and be a positive influence in our projects large & small . I believe this is independent of methodology; a testing champion is as valuable on a mega project as a lean agile one.
I could relate to all of Paul's misleading test concepts, we certainly need to be aware of these pitfalls and re-educate our team members.

Hi all, due to the location of the meet up I thought it may be a good idea to meet at New Street Station and get a taxi over to the science park? Only a suggestion, let me know if this would be beneficial to anyone and ill arrange it?

Never intended to be mandatory Joss, just thought it might be nice to do something that would give everyone [who wanted to] a chance to participate.

Not keen on the new format if being in the centre fielding questions about projects you've undertaken is mandatory. I liked the previous format (the option to join in was always there but not forced). Interesting to hear the views of other attendees.

I'm very much in favour of trialling the new format. The best talks usually generate a discussion at least as long as the presentation itself, so by realigning the format to a round-table debate instead I think you'd get a better use of the meetup time.
