.Details:
Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) are the boards on which all your electronics devices live. Whether it's a massive motherboard or a tiny Arduino board, all PCBs have many things in common. In this workshop you will learn how to etch your own PCB using some common household items such as a laser printer, sandpaper, and an iron. Other not so common chemicals will be used to etch the circuit board. You will walk away with a PCB you etched entirely on your own.
This is the fist of hopefully many etching workshops. Each attendee's circuit will be the same for this workshop. However, we will offer workshops in the future in which you design your own circuit. This will be part of a three part class series involving Eagle PCB design, etching and SMD soldering.
We are planning a part two to this workshop where you will get to solder to your etched PCB.
