This is a group for single parents to meet and talk about travel! And to organise travel with groups, or each other.  Ideas include:

1) Taking advantage of "family" package deals which are always for two children and two adults. No reason two single parents couldn't book this and share the deal!

2) Offering homestay or house swap with other families within Australia - we all deserve a break and maybe you can meet someone here to swap a house with in a another part of the country.

3) Chipping in together to hire babysitters or accomodation if travelling alone but wanting to meet up with other single families for part of the time. 

4) Group holidays (Long term goal)

 

As the group is just starting it will mainly be a networking group with occasional coffee meetups - other members are free to contact each other to organise things privately. 

 

NB. This group was formally a soical group called the Mamas and Papas which explains some of the old events and photos! I decided instead to focus more on my passion - travel!
