What instrument(s) do you use to write your music?

I use a Taylor NS24ce when sitting at home on Saturdays and writing. I have an acoustic fretless bass I built when I was out of work in the early 90s. I own a Rickenbacker 660 I use in the band. The band is Rare Elephant. Many times I have been sitting or working and some rhythm will be going on (Blinker in the car, whirring on a centrifuge at work) and a tune will pop up out of the ether and match the rhythm.

What comes easier for you - words or music?

Sometimes its words and sometimes it's music.

Do you imagine yourself or someone else performing your songs?

I do perform my songs.

Are you interested in collaboration or finding a songwriting partner?

Always! I find it a relief to know I'm not alone in my self depricating modes.. If I can help someone resolve a progression or they can help me (I need lots) then it's welcome.

What areas of your music experience are you wanting to improve? e.g. songwriting, marketing, networking, recording, airplay, gigs, etc.

All thee above.
