Come and meet your new support family!
An all age, non-gender specific group for sexual abuse survivors, meeting once a month in Toronto, Ontario.
My story is a testament to the human soul's strength when they realize the truth that they have always been carried and guided all along in this journey called life. It is one of compassion, forgiveness, and love at the most darkest times. I believe that this strength is within all of us, and for those who have been at the unfortunate end to have experienced the depths of human flaw, the opportunity for freedom and greater self discovery is literally a step within.
I believe things in life happen for a reason, and the power within those who have survived this type of trauma is a spark that cannot be contained.
Through discussion, friendship and unconditional support, my intentions are:
1. To create a group where survivors can feel safe discussing what is most private to them
2. To provide a space where we can not only heal the wounds that are within but help each other discover our true selves in the process
Confidentiality is taken with great importance due to the nature of this group's topic, and my hope is that the members truly feel at home, knowing that their thoughts, secrets and feelings are kept in a trusted and sacred space within the confines of the group.
