What we’re about
This group is aimed at South(ern) Africans in Perth who would like to meet up with other South(ern) Africans over a good meal and or a few drinks (restaurants, cafes, braais, picnics, etc).
The events are aimed at all demographics - families, couples, singles, young or not so young, long time Perth residents or new to town - all are welcome.
We do however have a few rules thus before applying to join the group, please take note of the following:
1. Profile photos: We ask that you upload a photo of yourself that will allow us to easily identify you at events.
2. Profile information: Please provide a real name that you are known by socially. Profile questions' information is to get an idea of the group's demographic and preferences. We do not distribute the information to external parties.
3. Event fees: As implementing annual member dues has proved not to be effective, we have introduced an event fee of $5. To be able to RSVP for an event, you will need to pay the event fee. If you attend, you will be refunded $4 - the remaining $1 will go towards covering the expenses associated with group hosting and administration.
4. Abusive or disrespectful members will be removed from the group.
