Hi Layer Geeks!
While you wait for the next 3D printing meetup (coming soon!), you can see and do a lot of 3D printing during the Bay Area Makers Startup Weekend July 11-13 at the Tech Museum in San Jose, CA:
Sign up for an exciting hackathon dedicated to all things makers--3D printers, connected devices, wearables, internet of things, or just plain old fashioned pure hardware. Come pitch your ideas, meet other hardware and maker enthusiasts, and build your prototypes! There will be industry experts as coaches and judges to give you feedback, and sponsors from companies like Autodesk, Intel, and Texas instruments.
Startup Weekend is a 54-hour event where developers, designers, marketers, and startup enthusiasts come together to share ideas and launch startups over the course of a weekend! Beginning with open mic pitches on Friday, teams transform ideas into prototype and demo on Sunday night. We will provide hardware, prototyping equipments, and tool kits to get you started. Read more about free stuff here. There will be a host of 3D printers at hand too !!
