Aerial Silks I (Beginner)

For students with no or minimal previous experience with aerial silks, this class will introduce people to the joys of dancing in the air. This class focuses on building student's core strength, movement vocabulary, and understanding of proper technique. Students will work with the fabric both as free flowing silks and in a knot. Please arrive on time to ensure sufficient class time for warm up and cool down.

To minimize the possibility of abrasion, wear form-fitting workout clothes that cover knees and armpits (tights or leggings work well). Jewelry will need to be removed.

You can pre-purchase the class online or pay at the start of class.

Note that some people have had trouble finding Vega's. Be aware that if you're coming from Story Rd, Felipe Ave intersects itself and you will need to take a right turn to stay on Felipe Ave and find the studio. Also be aware that Vega's is in an industrial section of San Jose, so don't be fooled by the warehouses. You're probably in the right place.

    Hi all,
I'm planning on trying out the Saturday class even though I have some tissu experience because I can't make the Sunday time. Are the classes usually small enough that the material can be tailored to individual students' levels? Can't wait to meet circus people in the south bay :)
