Let's Ride Over the Hill To Capitola and Enjoy a Nice Lunch

Public Parking Lot South of the Post Office

Arrive at 10:30, meet and greet, departure (KSU) at 11:00.

We'll start South on Hwy-17, over Bear Creek Road, Summit Road, San Jose Soquel Road through Soquel and into Capitola. We should arrive at just about noon. A couple hours to enjoy lunch and the town. Zelda's on the Beach is suggested. Many fun restaurants and shopping opportunities.

Route map handouts will be available.

We can discuss route home. Possibilities include, reverse route, or up Hwy-1 to Hwy-9 over the hill to Saratoga, or Hwys 1 and 17.

Weather looks iffy and rain cancels, so check back for updates.

Please arrive with a full tank.

Fabulous. The roads were good, the traffic over was non-existant, back was not bad. The weather could not have been better. The waves were high and the visibility was outstanding in Capitola. Zelda's service was kind of slow, but the food was pretty good. Best of all was the friendships formed. Thanks to all for making it a really good day.
