Options for the Internet of Things

The Internet of Things (IoT) is all the rage now. Come to this talk to get a hands on look at a few different options to use. You'll see:

• Intel Edison with the embedded Yocto Linux OS

• Gadgeteer NETMF

• Arduino Uno

• TI

• IDE options

I'll also be demonstrating Azure services to support IoT data collection and reporting.

This is for you if you are curious out hardware programming and want to see the pros and cons of the different options.

Feel free to bring your own microcontrollers or embedded systems.
