This is a book group for people who can't make weekday book groups due to commitments such as work, although anyone is welcome to attend. Each month a book will be agreed upon for reading between meetings. I plan to keep the range of literature broad to appeal to everyone's tastes. This may include contemporary fiction, classics, comic novels, sci-fi, noir, etc. Additionally, I would like to pull some focus towards classic and contemporary American literature, as I have found an abundance of brilliant reading material in this category. Authors in this caegory might include Philip Roth, Kate Chopin, Donna Tartt, etc. Meetings will take place in a cafe in South Yarra in a relaxed environment where people can feel free to order coffees/food while discussing the novel.
