Welcome Speed Daters!

We, the 30 something single professional women of South Surrey (and surrounding areas) decided to be proactive about getting out and meeting single professional men between the ages of 30 and 47.

The purpose of this meetup group is to mingle with other single professionals on 8-minute "speed dates" with the hope of finding someone compatible to explore and get to know for the possibility of a long-term relationship. For each event, we'll have a group of at least 10 men and 10 women. Everyone will need to show up at least 15-minutes early in order to get their name tags. You spend 8 minutes getting to know a bit about each of your 10 dates (just enough time to decide if you’d like to see them again). Unlike a blind date, there’s no pressure and no expectations.

At the end of the event, each speed dater will provide the event coordinator with a note specifying any person whom he or she would like to see again for a one-on-one date. If there is mutual chemistry, and that person has also handed in a note with your name on it, after we confirm the match, the following day we will provide you with each other’s contact information. You both take it from there and are then free to explore your connection.

(1) a single professional
(2) between the ages of 30 and 47
(3) still optimistic about finding someone of the opposite sex for a long term relationship

PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT a speed dating company and we will not charge you fees beyond our costs for each event. We will have a nominal charge ($5 to $15) for each event to cover the cost of appetizers for everyone and any fees that the restaurants may charge us. You will need to pay for any beverages yourself.
