Details
Let's get together for a brief introduction to the benefits of using Julia, followed by casual conversation and a discussion of our goals for the group. Pizza, salad and soda will be provided. Scientists, data scientists, and newcomers to Julia are all welcome!
Special thanks to Retention Science for hosting the gathering and providing the food/drinks. They are at 2601 Ocean Park Blvd #104 in Santa Monica. If driving, you will need to be going west on Ocean Park Blvd to park. The entrance to the parking structure has a giant orange front. Go ahead and park in one of the visitor spots.
I'd still love to have one or two lightning talks as well, so please let me know if there's anything you'd like to share about how you are using Julia or why you find it exciting.
