Kickoff Meeting (Take 2)

We will be having our kickoff meeting at UCLA on the first Friday of October! A couple of us will go over how we use Julia in our day-to-day work. If you are interested in presenting, please let use know either through email or on Gitter (http://gitter.im/SoCal-Julia/General).
We can then follow up with discussions on the overall roadmap of our group (interested topics, possible hackathons, etc). Pizzas and sodas will be provided, of course.

The exact building/room number is still being worked out, and I will update everyone as soon as I have that information.
