Let's discuss "Breakfast With Buddha" by Roland Merullo

There is one copy of "Fayal Roads" on the shelf in the Sausalito library - I hope someone gets it soon, because the Corte Madera library has two copies in process to accept but their "review committee" has to OK listing the book. That is pending - if you ask for it maybe it will help them approve the request to keep the books on the shelf. It's pretty bureaucratic.

There are three copies of free books still available. Get it from the library first, but you are still welcome to a free one if you want it. We'll make sure they are available at the April 23 book club meeting.

----------------------

Some of us gather at 6pm to socialize prior to the start of the discussion. Please feel free to join us for snacks and drinks!  If you would like to bring something, please note it in your RSVP.

There is a charge for this meetup which is solely used to keep this site active on Meetup.com.  I collect cash at the meeting.  Your first visit is always free.  After that it is $2 per visit.  There is a discount if you would like to pay ahead: $10 for 6 visits or $20 for 12 meetings.

I want to thank everyone who came to the meeting last week. I really enjoy this group. The fact that we had a slight glitch but kept on going says it all. We came together as a team, found a solution and had a fantastic discussion. You, the members, are the ones who get me so excited each month to prepare for our gatherings. Thank you! PS..I still think that 1 glitch in over 2 years is a great track record!

PPS..Morna..the fact that you have made it possible for us to meet at your apartment clubhouse all these months is amazing. You are a treasure to the group and we missed you! Please don't worry about last week. It all worked out!

Thanks to all for such a great discussion. Even with all the glitches of the night, it was a lovely evening. I totally agree with Kristen, it's so interesting to hear others viewpoints and see things in ways may not have even thought of. And welcome to the new folks who came, you were all great new additions to our book group. Thanks to Marilyn for, as usual, being a wonderful facilitator.

Thank you as always for the wonderful discussion! No matter what opinion I have of a book coming into a meeting, I always leave with a greater appreciation for it because of all the wonderful points everyone makes. It's so nice to be able to see things from perspectives I hadn't considered.

Sorry Guys and Galls, I can't come tonight. Darn!...and I suggested the book. I was looking forward to hearing your reaction. I just found out about a class I've been wanting to take and it, of course, starts tonight. I may miss the next month's as well. I will miss seeing you!! Have fun.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
