Spacebrew MADness: Learn to Set-up Your Own Server

Details
Spacebrew MADness
We are excited to announce that we are hosting our last Spacebrew workshop session at the Museum of Art and Design (http://www.madmuseum.org/) (MAD) in New York. This month's jam session is the third installment of our workshop series that is part of the After the Museum (http://www.madmuseum.org/exhibition/after-museum) exhibit.
This time around, we'll teach you how to set-up your own Spacebrew sever. Just like our previous MAD sessions, everyone who signs up will get complimentary entrance to the museum.
To learn more about Spacebrew, check out the Spacebrew website (http://docs.spacebrew.cc/) and blog (http://docs.spacebrew.cc/spacebrewcc/).
Our Plan for the Day
1:00 - 1:30 introductions and quick demos. We will start the workshop with a short overview of what Spacebrew is, and why it was created, followed by a few demos of Spacebrew in action.
1:30 - 3:00 hands on workshop. After the intro we will walk through how to set up a local Spacebrew server and connect applications written in Processing and Javascript to your server (we'll also have people on hand who can help you connect Python and openFrameworks apps to Spacebrew). Please bring your own laptops so that you can follow along.
3:00 - 5:00 hang out, meet people, and work on your own projects. After the workshop we'll hang out to help you connect your existing projects to Spacebrew, or talk to you about future projects idea and how Spacebrew may be able to help.
Want to share a Spacebrew project? If you have a project that you want to share, send us an email and we'll give you chance to do a short presentation during this time.
