Bacon-Palooza II: The return of the all singing, all dancing, ALL EATING three-day multimedia autism fundraiser featuring BACON, the best meat to eat!
Friday and Saturday performances will include CT Jermin's musical medley "The Bacon Blues", Little Miss Lixx presenting Bacon Burlesque, and The Bacon Bits new musical Beauty and the Bacon, while on film we are proud to present the NYC premiere of of Spookshow Entertainment's cautionary tale BACON: The Movie and our continuing musical min-film series Bacon-Strips.
Sunday's Bacon Brunch will feature Kathy J. Bacon Goddess "channeling the divine through hand crafted swine" plus live readings of bacon prose and poetry by Carlos Hernadez and others.
Food and drink will include an open bar featuring Bakon Vokda, a bacon buffet with Eckrich's bacon and bacon-ized meats and a Sunday bacon brunch provided by The Baconery
Throughout the weekend we will be featuring a Bacon Art Exhibtion (submissions welcome at sgdasubmissions@gmail.com) & Bacon Novelties from bacon jelly beans to bacon toothpaste on sale.
BONUS! Our program book, BACONTHOLOGY, will include Baconized stories from NY Times Bestselling/award-winning authors who have generously donated their baconized work to Bacon-Palooza II. A $25.00 value free to attendees!
Bacon-Palooza: The Schedule!
Friday:
6pm to 8pm: Open bar w/ bacon buffet presented by Eckrich.
8pm: Live performances starting with The Bacon Blues singing of CT Jermin, then Bacon Burlesque featuring Little Miss Lixx,and then the New York City Premiere of Spookhouse Entertainment's cautionary tale Bacon: the Movie.
Saturday:
6pm to 8pm: Open bar with bacon buffet provided by restaurants around town.
8pm The lastest in our musical mini-films series Bacon-Strips, The fried-up comedy of Rob Gorden, and The Bacon Bits perform their new musical Beauty and the Bacon.
Sunday:
11:30 3:30 pm, a sit-down Bacon Brunch with waiter service by the SoHo Host Club, and The Baconery providing Bacon pastries, bacon candy and samplers, and there will be bacon jam from Skillet Street Foods, bacon syrup from Torani, bacon tea and bacon mimosas. Kathy J. Bacon Goddess and her pantheon of Bacon People will be "channeling the divine through hand crafted swine" and there will be live readings of bacon prose and poety from BACONTHOLOGY by Carlos Hernadez and others. Joining us for Brunch will be the artists from our Bacon art exhibition.
