What we’re about
This is a a group for people who live and work In NY and the surrounding area, but who recognize we are in one of the greatest metropolitan areas in the world. It's for people who are creatures of the city, with all its diversity, possibilities, opportunities, and excitement. To be sure, we will make excursions into the city--and that includes Queens and Brooklyn as well as Manhattan...and let's not forget the Bronx and Staten Island as well. However, we will get together here on Long Island too, in the interest of promoting convenience and encouraging inclusion by people whose budgets may not allow them to take trips to the city as frequently as they'd like. The point of this group is as much to allow meeting, forming friendships, and having fellowship with others whose hearts belong in the city, as it is to take trips into the city for all that it offers.
Some of the event types we offer are :Museums, speed dating, bowling, pool, golf, bingo, shows, rock climbing, mingles and more.
This group is not for pick-up or seduction techniques, or wingman tactics.

Join us for a fun, social adventure at our Grand Central Murder Mystery Scavenger Hunt. You don’t need any special skills for this activity. Get ready to have a good time making new friends and solving a mystery. Plus, you'll find out things about Grand Central you never knew before!
How It Works:
- When you arrive we will put you on teams - if you don’t already have one (90% of those attending will not have a team).
- Each team will be given a list of clues and 75 minutes to head to Grand Central to try and uncover the mystery of Mary’s demise. The team with the most points wins.
- Once everyone is back we'll safely socialize where you can share your experiences with the others.
The Theme:
Meet Up Mary is a regular on the social circuit in New York. You'd probably know her if you've been out before. She was very personable, friendly and bubbly! Unfortunately Mary met a horrific end at Grand Central and the police need you help to solve her case! Join us for this fun and educational night where you will get to explore every corner of the NYC Landmark in ways that you never have before! What's dress code? Wear what you had on at work. It's casual and comfortable.

Want to meet new people (and maybe that special someone) in a unique setting? Looking to get some fresh air, a little exercise and enjoy some beautiful views? Then we have the perfect event for you!
Join fun and friendly singles for a sunset stroll across the Brooklyn Bridge. Our "Date Walks" are very casual and non-awkward way to meet others. Your host will be there to make introductions and every 10 minutes or so, will also ask the men to switch with a woman they have not spoken to yet so everyone gets a chance to talk with everyone.
We will first meet at a Starbucks where you can grab a drink for your walk. Then we'll walk a 1.5-2 mile stretch to the Brooklyn Bridge Park to NYC and back. We will also hang afterwards in a nearby area.

Get ready for an action-packed night with our Speed Dating CT event in Stamford. We've been bringing people together since 2003, and we're proud to say that we've seen over 85 married couples (and counting) come out of our events.Now, let me give you the lowdown on what goes down at our Connecticut Speed Dating event. We ask all participants to arrive 15-30 minutes earlier than the start time. This way, you can settle in, grab a drink at the bar, and get ready for an incredibly fun night. Trust us, showing up right when things kick off might leave you a bit more nervous. Arriving a little early can do wonders.
Now, I know you might be wondering if you'll feel uncomfortable. It's natural to have some jitters, but think of it like jumping into a cold pool of water. At first, it might be a bit chilly, but after a few minutes, you start to warm up. The same goes for our speed dating events. After a round or two, people start to relax, warm up, and genuinely enjoy getting to know other fun singles.
So, let's talk about how we select people. After each round of dates, we'll give you the opportunity to make your selection on a scorecard. You can jot down some notes about the person you just met, too. Then, the ladies stay seated while the men rotate over. When that round is over, you make your selection on your scorecard again. It's a straightforward process that keeps things flowing smoothly.
At the end of the night, you'll turn in your scorecard to the host. Don't worry, we've got you covered. We'll process the match results within 12 hours (and often even sooner). You'll receive both mutual matches (where you pick each other) and one-way matches (where you know someone was interested in you, giving you a second chance to reach out if you're interested).
