About us
This is a a group for people who live and work In NY and the surrounding area, but who recognize we are in one of the greatest metropolitan areas in the world. It's for people who are creatures of the city, with all its diversity, possibilities, opportunities, and excitement. To be sure, we will make excursions into the city--and that includes Queens and Brooklyn as well as Manhattan...and let's not forget the Bronx and Staten Island as well. However, we will get together here on Long Island too, in the interest of promoting convenience and encouraging inclusion by people whose budgets may not allow them to take trips to the city as frequently as they'd like. The point of this group is as much to allow meeting, forming friendships, and having fellowship with others whose hearts belong in the city, as it is to take trips into the city for all that it offers.
Some of the event types we offer are :Museums, speed dating, bowling, pool, golf, bingo, shows, rock climbing, mingles and more.
This group is not for pick-up or seduction techniques, or wingman tactics.

6:30 PM to 9 PMWhere: Verona Ristorante- Farmingdale
Cost: $15 early, $20 regular: $10 of each ticket donated to Angela's house (a Long Island not-for-profit organization that supports medically fragile children and their families)
Verona will also offer a special Angelas House / The Giving Table menu for the evening. When guests order select beverages and chef-curated specials from that menu, a portion of those sales will also benefit Angelas House.
NO ASSIGNED SEATS- You ll be able to move around, chat with different people, order food or drinks, and sit when youd like. There will be plenty of seating available, but no assigned seats and no pressure to stay at one table all night.
This event is open to singles of all ages and is NOT meant to be age specific/gender balanced. Come enjoy cocktails, conversation, food, connection, and purpose. Jay will be attending to help facilitate introductions.
