SPEED FRIENDING EVENT ON FRIDAY MARCH 29TH! FREE FOOD, CHEAP DRINKS, AND TONS OF PRIZES! We had such an amazing turn out for our last event here and I have gotten tons of emails from people asking when is the next one?!?! So lets do it again! Same place, same time, and new amazing people to meet!

This venue is awesome and we all had such a blast last time! We had over 30 people come for speed friending and almost everyone stayed after to enjoy the super cheap cocktails. What is Speed Friending and can you only do it if you are single?

A: This event is for people single or in a relationship! Speed Friending is similar to speed dating except you meet EVERYONE at the event, not just the opposite sex. People go to these events that are new to the area, people looking for new friends, to professionally network, or to find dates!

Is there parking at Rebel?

A: Yes, street parking and free parking on side streets (just be careful and make sure to read the signs). We get there early enough to beat the bar rush so parking is really good outside the venue.

What if I show up late?

A: You will not be able to participate unless you notify me before hand! You can text me at 847-207-1377. This set up is different then speed dating so if we add you in late it will distrupt the rotation. Anyone more than 15 minutes late will not be able to participate and will not get their money back unless the host is notified.

What do I do if I am interested in someone?

A: You can either ask for their contact information there, send them a private message using meetup.com, or email the host at Devon@speeddatechicago.com . She will notify them and see if they would like to exchange contact info.

What goes on after the speed friending?

We have an after event mix and mingle. This way you can talk to everyone you met during the event! Now you have met everyone and it is a social gathering of hopefully new friends and drinking buddies!

Can I invite a friend?

A: YES! You can add them as a plus one or have them sign up for speed friending! You both will receive a discount or a free event for doing this!

Late/No Show Policy: If you prepay and do not show up to the event you will not get your money back. You need to email the host at Devon@speeddatechicago.com 24 before the event. If you show up late and do not notify the host you will also not be able to receive your money back. The reason for this is because we do a lot of work prior to this event, printing name tags, guest list working out specials for having a certain number of guest, arrage for prizes, table set up, and tons of other things! So help us out by simply letting us know if you can not make it, thanks!
