Welcome to Spinal Defects on the Move.  I am starting this group for my daughter who has had her spinal cord removed below T2 due to a tumor. I have learned a lot about how to enhance her quality of life including natural digestive nutrition, standing programs and cures for paralysis. Lets form a community of peers with similar challenges, regardless of age or ability! We can share research, resources and new ways of perceiving physical disabilities. We can also support wheelchair athletic programs and accessible recreation opportunities. My daughter has a beautiful personality and wonderful spirit - we hope to meet and befriend others in her community.

    Free Adaptive Aquatics at Vivion Rd YMCA

    No membership is required for adaptive aquatics. Classes run every Tues and Thurs from 6:30 to 7:45pm. Caregivers are welcome to swim as well!
