Are you grappling with how to integrate your spirituality into your daily life? You are not alone! Do you find yourself wrestling with spiritual issues such as violence, poverty, injustice, greed, social responsibility, suffering and fear? Wish you had someone to discuss these and other important topics with? You are not alone!

Meet with us Sunday, June 3rd, 10am at Café Leila 1724 San Pablo Ave., Berkeley. This group meets to discuss topics (chosen by the group) that relate to our spirituality and spiritual practice. We read articles, watch video clips and reflect on current events as a spring board for our conversations. A link to the discussion resources (videos, articles, etc) will be posted a week prior to the gathering. Each gathering will conclude with an invitation to a spiritual practice exercise to try during your daily life.

At this meeting we will discuss our Privilege in all of its forms and our responsibility to be good stewards of our privilege and power within community. The following is a link to an article that speaks to gender and white privilege. Please use this piece as a tool for reflection on the ways in which you may experience privilege (class, race, education, income, ability, gender, citizen, etc.) and how that privileges shapes your participation in community
