http://photos3.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/b/3/9/4/event_223305972.jpegLearn to quilt and make a cute pillow for your couch or bed! Please join us in the Greenhouse as quilter Caitlin Topham (http://saltyoat.blogspot.com/) instructs this 3-hour workshop to make a quilted pillow cover featuring the traditional flying geese pattern with a modern twist. In class, we'll go over how to piece the pillow front, ways to quilt it, and how to create an envelope-style pillow back. Students can expect to leave this class with a finished pillow cover!
Please note that while this class is designed for beginners, basic sewing skills and a familiarity with a sewing machine are required. To help you finish your pillow during class time, please come with all of your pieces pre-cut.
