Futbol has so many competitive fans, how can some of that passion and teamwork be directed to help good causes?

Jason, there's some really great non-profits here in the city using soccer for good works. Street Soccer USA which works with homeless young adults is staging their National Cup here in August. They're very much in need of volunteers, and teams to play in their Open and Corporate Cup tournaments http://ssusacupseries...

Definitely some amazing NGOs already doing great things. Street Soccer USA has a very strong presence locally in SF. There is also Grassroot Soccer, One World Football project and many more.

    Hello fellow soccer fans.

I have been a volunteer coach (soccer and baseball) for the last 7 years. About a year ago, we’ve started to develop a mobile social marketplace for youth sport teams ( Our app combines team scheduling, management and e-commerce into one, aiming to help coaches and parents to better coach and manage their teams. I am looking forward to joining you in this event.

Some of the innovations in soccer are happening right in our own backyard. Anyone working around actual people PLAYING and not just fans?

    Is there life after NASCAR?

    May 21, 2014

    • Stanford C.

Boring. It used to be Red Bull, now it's Mercedes and the cars are barely faster than a GP2 car, or the same speed as F1 cars in 1997.
