All-Star Panel: “The Evolution of Sports Media”

Join us November 27th at 6pm as the Sports and Tech Meetup presents an all-star panel discussing: “The Evolution of Sports Media.” Our panel of entrepreneurs, executives, investors, and journalists will discuss how technology and the natural disruption of markets are fundamentally changing how sports are presented and covered. Our panel will weigh in on how these changes affect a variety of parties from old and new media businesses to fans to leagues to startups and what new big innovations and opportunities lay ahead. Q&A will follow.

Panelists Include:
Pete Vlastelica – Senior VP of Product Strategy at Fox Sports. Former Founder and CEO of Yardbarker (acquired by Fox Sports Interactive).

Christine Anderson – Creative Director, Sportsvision (the company behind the yellow first down line shown on football television and many other leading augmented reality innovations to sports TV).

Carlos Silva – Managing Director, Park Lane (Investment Bank focused on the sports industry). Former President and COO of Universal Sports and Head of AOL Sports.

Katie Baker – Staff Writer at Grantland (ESPN). Past contributor to Deadspin, The New York Times Magazine, The Wall Street Journal and other leading publications.
