All-Star Panel: “The Reinvention of the In-stadium Experience”

  • Jan 22, 2013 · 6:00 PM

Join us Tuesday, January 22nd at 6pm as the Sports and Tech Meetup presents an all-star panel discussing: “The Reinvention of the In-stadium Experience.” Our panel of team executives, entrepreneurs, and practitioners will discuss how the experience of going to the game is changing. Our panel will weigh in on how these changes affect everything from the physical design of the stadium to the technical infrastructure to the fan engagement and how startups and others can take advantage of this evolution. Q&A will follow.

Panelists Include:
Chip Bowers – Chief Marketing Officer, Golden State Warriors. Former Senior VP, Orlando Magic and Seattle SuperSonics.

David Kaval – President, San Jose Earthquakes (MLS). Co-founder, Golden Baseball League.

Bill Crockett – Director of Sports Architecture, AECOM. Has been the architect of record for NBA, NFL, NCAA, and Olympic stadiums and arenas.

Evan Owens – Co-founder and CEO, Pogoseat (innovative mobile app for live-event seat upgrades)

6:00 – 6:15 Pregame – snacks, drinks, networking (maybe some stretching)
6:15 – 7:05 Game – Panel: “The Reinvention of the In-stadium Experience” followed by Q&A
7:05 – 8:00 Postgame – networking, drinks, and football playoff's chatter!

If you have questions, comments, suggestions about the event or interest in sponsorship or a display table for your company, or if you want to argue about which stadium is better: Fenway or Wrigley, then email Michael Frank at mfrank [at] nsv [dot] com.
