This is the first ride of our proposed monthly scheduled ride. Big #1 has agreed to open early so we can get together in the dealership. The ride has a lot of options. We will depart Big #1 by 9:00 am and head for Huntsville. We will meet up with a few riders along the way. In Huntsville we will take Hwy 231 to Fayetteville, TN and then Hwy 50 to Lynchburg. Any one who wants to make it a short ride can drop off and have lunch anywhere they want to and ride back home on their own. The plan is to be in Lynchburg by 12:00 noon.

The riders who want to do the entire ride; we will be going to the old town square in Lynchburg, to Lynchburg Outdoors Motorcycle Shop. The owner Pat Bedford has put in lights and other accessories for Spyders because his dad bought a Spyder and they plan to add more inventory of parts and accessories for Spyders. They are open Saturday and Sunday. If you have never been to Lynchburg there are a lot of shops there and several good restaurants. Pat is friends with all of them and he is letting them know that we are coming. He has also spoke to a friend at Jack Daniels and they have no events going on that day so getting a tour of the distillery will not be a problem. Regular tours are free, tasting tours are $10.00.

For anyone wanting to make this a one day ride Carl Rochford will be heading back about 3:00 pm leading a group through a scenic route back home. For anyone who wants to spend the night Pat knows the owner of a nice clean local motel that will give us a group rate of $58.95 plus tax.

For the folks who want to spend the night we will do the distillery tour on Sunday and then take a scenic ride back home.
