St Louis Area Wargaming

The St Louis Area Wargaming Meetup group is intended to provide a central membership and event scheduling platform for wargamers of all interests and experiences in the greater St Louis metropolitan area. Members of this groups can set up regular or special wargaming sessions on the Calendar, and can invite other members of the group to join them. Events can be totally open to the entire membership, or limits on how many can attend can be set up. This group is open to any and all wargamers in the area, and to those who may be visiting St Louis and are looking for some local "action" while they are in town. Historical miniatures, fantasy/sf miniatures, historical board wargames, alternate history games, etc. are all open season here-- the group's purpose is to focus on board and tabletop (miniatures) wargaming. There are a number of Yahoo Groups and other Internet sites currently set up for communication in the area. This group is not in competition with those groups; rather, it is intended to help bring the members of all St Louis area groups together and provide a place for gaming events to be set up and invite others to play.
