About us
The St. Louis Game Development meetup is dedicated to bringing game developers, both professional and amateur, together to socialize and collaborate. Each month we host a get together for veterans and newcomers of the development world. This includes individuals with skills or aspirations in game design, programming, animation, 3D modeling, or any other craft related to producing a video game.
At its core, game development depends on the relationships between all those involved to bring a project to fruition. We'd like to provide a supportive atmosphere for people to get together and share their experiences, and maybe make a few friends along the way. Who knows, you may just find someone who can help you with your next idea!

Game Club: Chants of Sennaar
Sauce on the Side, 701 N. New Ballas Road, Creve Coeur, MO, USGame Club is like a book club except we pick a game to play each month and then meet up to discuss it with a focus on game design.
To keep the group budget-friendly, games we play are generally under $15. Each month we randomly select someone in the group to pick a few game options and then we vote on which one to play for the month. You must attend a meeting to be selected, and voting is done on our Discord server.
Our game for this month is Chants of Sennaar!
Join us in person to discuss the game at Sauce on the Side in Creve Coeur.2 attendees

Submission Guidelines:
- STLGameDev reserves the right to refuse or remove any game from our showcases for any reason.
- This event is specifically for showcasing and/or testing games YOU have made or are working on. It is not a space to play the latest AAA games, games you did not work on, or games that you do not have permission to test in public.
- Please register ahead of time with this form to show off a game. It is preferred that you arrive around 11:30am to setup your hardware and be ready for playtesting by noon. Let us know if you will arrive later or if you will need to leave before the end of the event. Table space is on a first-come first-served basis. If you arrive later during the event, we cannot guarantee there will be room for you to setup.
- Submitting the registration form (above) is a commitment to attend the event. Any no-shows may be excluded from future showcase opportunities. If something comes up last minute, please let us know as soon as possible!
- We encourage game content for a general audience. If your game contains explicit violence, adult content, or anything else that may be considered controversial or more than PG-13, please let us know and we will make a judgement on whether it is appropriate.
- You must bring your own demo hardware. Laptops, notebooks, tablets, and mobile devices are encouraged. There will not be space for large gaming rigs and large monitors/TVs. Small card and board games are also allowed, but table space is limited. Make sure to also bring gamepads or any other input devices needed to play your game!
