Youth Learning Center Game Jam for Kids

The YLC, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, loves the idea of game jams! They are planning to hold one for their students (kids 8-17), as well as other interested kids from schools around the city. The hope is that the kids will design and implement their own games with tools such as pre-created templates in GameMaker and GameSalad. It would be great to have experienced jammers come by and help out, so each team of kids will have mentors to help them through the process. The jam will take place on one day -- food and drink will be provided, AND free t-shirts for participants.
