About the Presentation:
Our March meeting will feature Scott Crawford presenting "Kafka 101: Everything you wanted to know about Apache Kafka but we're afraid to ask."

Apache Kafka brings publish-subscribe messaging to the scale required for Big Data. Originally developed at LinkedIn, it is now an open source Apache project, which a variety of organizations are using to connect applications that produce data to others that consume it. During this presentation, Scott will explain more about what Kafka is, how it works, and popular use cases for this technology.
