This group is for Spanish speakers of all levels: from native to novice. In my experience, the trouble with learning a new language is three-fold: fear of speaking, making time to practice and hitting plateaus in ability. This group is being created to address these issues.

We'll meet in a casual environment with the understanding that mistakes will be made in speaking...and made often. We'll have a standing conversation time on Wednesday or Thursday nights (TBD by the group) somewhere near the Grand Ave area of St. Paul.  Also, we'll strive to improve the skills of everyone, by creating lively and interesting conversations, beyond the tired exchange of phrases.  My hope is that we can discuss topics that inspire a real desire to participate: movies, current events, books, culture, you name it.
